World Refugee Day                                                           June 20, 2020

Rho Epsilon Omega supports an online event with the International Institute of New England on Saturday, June 20th at 8:00 pm for WORLD REFUGEE DAY. Suitcase Stories feature refugees and advocate voices. This is a ticketed event, and will include:

*Three Suitcase Stories performed by local refugees: Alexis Kubana from the Republic of Rwanda, Thi Thi Aye from Myanmar/Burma, and Zaiab Abdo from Syria.

*A live conversation with IINE staff providing critical services to refugees, moderated by Suitcase Stories Director, Cheryl Hamilton.  The panelists will be staff members of IINE: Sofie Suter, Elsy Cipriani, and Yusuf Abdi discussing relevant facts and information related to the local and global refugee crisis. Q & A from the audience via chat.

*The host Theresa Okokon, a yoga teacher, a storyteller, a nonprofit professional, and host of a nationally televised storytelling TV show.
